"These are real life superheroes, right mom?"-Nash (age 9)
Brave Beyond the Call's mission is to improve the lives of our service men and women by providing financial and emotional support. We are able to do this in a unique way by including these humbled heroes in organized events that are designed around the premise of showing today's youth, no matter their age or skill level, that they can do their part to give back to these real life superheroes. With each event or activity, there is an element that includes these service men and women, which in turn has proven to give them a purpose beyond what they were called to do.

BRAVE BEYOND THE CALL - January 22, 2022.

We invite you to participate in our fundraiser, 22 STRIKE OUT, at STARS AND STRIKES located at 133 Merchants Square, Cumming, GA 30004, January 22, 2022 at 10:00am -12:00pm. This fundraiser is planned to educate and raise awareness in the community about the 22 veterans that die each day from suicide. Our 22 STRIKE OUT event will be a bowling competition with a different twist:
-
Each team will have a veteran on their team. Only spares and strikes will be counted. A spare = ½ point and a strike = 1 point. The first team to get 22 points wins. When your team’s veteran gets a spare or strike, their points are doubled.
-
When it’s the Veteran’s turn to bowl, they have the option to ask someone for help by asking another team member or a neighboring veteran to bowl for them. This symbolizes veterans asking for help against suicide.
The cost to bowl is $25 per person, which includes two hours of bowling, shoe rental, pizza, and soft drink.
Team sponsorship packages are available at $250 for a total of 7 people per team.
We hope to see you soon with your family and friends, as we bowl and work toward striking out suicides among our Veterans.
"Thank you for inviting us to the bowling event today! I've been struggling the past couple of weeks dealing with the VA re-evaluations, and it has put a lot of stress on me. It was definitely a "Huge" stress relief to get my mind off of things. Thank you for all you do."
